SPANISH MASTERS ‘18
Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to present Warmachine and Hordes Spanish Masters 2018, in collaboration with Goblin Trader Store.
Prepare your favourite warcasters and warlocks and take them for a dance with fierce veterans and starry eyed newcomers, in 6 rounds of thrilling competition

DATE AND LOCATION
The event will take place on November 17th and 18th (Saturday and Sunday) in Goblin Trader Madrid Norte (Marqués de Lema 7, Madrid)
RULES AND GAME SYSTEM
Maximum participants: 64
Depending on the number of participants 5 or 6 rounds will be played, playing 2 rounds on Sunday in order to facilitate travel plannings.
Tournament format: SteamRoller 2018.
Each player must bring two 75pt lists, both from the same faction and with different casters.
*Each list must be played at least once during the whole event.
*All Theme Forces are allowed.
*Alternate History Casters are not allowed
*Specialists/Reinforcements Rules are not allowed.
Full painted armies are not a requirement, but we encourage players to bring their armies as painted as possible.

Miniatures should represent faithfully the army option included in the army list, and they must also be available for the opponent when lists are shown. Miniatures should also be easily distinguished one from another, paying special attention to lists that repeat once or more the same model or unit.
Proxies are not allowed. Conversions are allowed, provided they follow the steamroller rules in that regard. If any players doubts whether a conversion will be allowed or not, please send an email to
eventosporteriles@gmail.com showing as clearly as possible the model to be approved.
To make the game easier, proxy bases can be used (“my titan gladiator tusks overlap the base, and it makes positioning the model harder” is a valid example) as long as it doesn’t lead to confusion (“my winged beasts are a pain to align properly, so this base will represent an angelius, these two will be neraphs and that last one will be a Seraph” is NOT a valid example)
Painted models are not required, but highly encouraged. At the very least, the player must make sure to mark the frontal arc of the bases
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Registrations will be processed first come first served. We will, however, try to guarantee that all WMH communities that want to do so can attend the event.
In order to register, you should purchase the Ticket to the event following the next link. Make sure you choose “pick the product at the store” when you do so, in order to remove shipping expenses.
Participating fee: 25 EUR (all fees will be dedicated to the different awards, welcome packages, breakfast…)

The following awards will be given at the end of the tournament:
*First place.
*Second place.
*Third place.
*Best painted army. One of the two lists of the participants that wish to do so will be judged. It will have to be fully painted and based.
*Best painted model. This model can be selected from those outside the played lists. We encourage participants to present a model that the participants themselves have painted.
*Best in Faction
*Higher Control Points Difference
*Most Destroyed Enemy Army Points
*Higher SoS
*Wooden Spoon (last place).
Furthermore, a raffle for store tickets will be done at the end of the tournament.

5) Destroyed Army Points Difference. We remind you that in order to count as destroyed, a unit has to be completely destroyed. Caster kill does not automatically award battlegroup points.

How to reach the store:
BY CAR - Cuatro Caminos zone has a regulated parking area that is active on Saturday morning: we encourage players not to arrive by this mean. If you still have to, you can park your car in Ciudad Universitaria, which is close by (and free) and arrive by public transport to the store.
BY METRO/UNDERGROUND - Closest station: Cuatro Caminos (Lines 1, 2, 6), 3-4 minutes walking distance. Also close by are the stations of Guzmán el Bueno (Lines 6, 7), Canal (Lines 2, 7) and Ríos Rosas (Line 1).
BY TRAIN - Closest station: Nuevos Ministerios (most Cercanías lines), 15 minutes walking distance. You can still take the metro or bus from here.
BY BUS: There are lots of lines that stop at Cuatro Caminos. You should check
www.emtmadrid.es in order to find the best combination.
If you need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask.
Goblin Trader has a cafeteria available for the participants.
There are also many restaurants around the area, so finding a place to eat lunch should not be a problem.
