Any product available in Poland to Strip Paint ?

Hello Guys !

I'm sorry to not being able to speak polish, some of you may know me at the tournaments in warsaw !

I was wondering, is there any product or brand you guys use to strip paint from metal models that is available in Poland ? Like in Leroy Merlin or Carrefour ?

In the US and England they got something cheap like Castrol Super Cleaner, Dittol or Fairy Power spray.

So what are you using ?

For metal (dissolves plastic) Acetone

Or DOT3 or DOT4 car brake fluid, which u can buy at any gas station.

Quickest way to strip paint from metal minis is paint thinner (any kind really). You can have your models cleaned in an hour or two.

For metal and plastic DOT-4, it's brake fluid.You can buy it on every gas station.

Aceton is the best, it clears metal instantly and helps to keep brushes healthy.

I did have some brush cleaner product from vallejo, does it work too ?

Otherwise i'll go fetch some acetone/dot 3-4

Don't forget that acetone will damage your bases

For brush cleaning u should use acetone or nitro solvent. Vallejo brush cleaner helps to restore their natural bending ability and helps to keep the sharp tip longer. It also changes the brush taste like glaze medium

You can get Dettol Liquid (best paint stripper ever) on Allegro.pl

Break fluid (at least DOT-3) does damage PP plastic if you keep models in for more than a couple of hours. Soaking them for 2-3 hours should be just fine. Still, PP plastic models tend not to be consistent when it comes to material quality, so I would advice caution in that regard.

I use and it works great, also as a cleaner for my brushes..

Alright ! So i went to carrefour and bought some cheap ass Polish nail remover (with acetone).

I let the stingers stir in a jar of it for a few hours and it worked wonderfully well for metal models. good !
